Last Saturday 6th July, the prestigious Finca Cortesin resort in Casares, between Marbella and Sotogrande, became the stage for solidarity and sport, hosting the XXVII Golf Tournament organised by the BGI Foundation for Children. We are proud to have been one of the official sponsors of this charity golf event, which combines the passion for this sport with a strong social commitment in favour of the neediest children.
This event not only brought together over a hundred golf enthusiasts for a day full of excitement, but also raised essential funds that are entirely allocated to various projects that the BGI Foundation develops for children in countries such as Colombia, Peru, the Dominican Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our participation, along with that of other generous sponsors and collaborators, will allow the continuation of vital programs including quality education, artistic initiatives, and medical care for vulnerable communities, improving the living conditions of more than 1,600 boys and girls.
Finca Cortesin, world renowned for offering one of the most unforgettable golf experiences in Europe, provided the perfect venue for this event. We are talking about a multi-award winning course that has hosted such important competitions as the Solheim Cup 2023. The harmony between the natural Mediterranean landscape and the setting of the resort and its 18-hole golf course added a touch of excellence and prestige to the day.
