Given its prominent influence in the city, the DOM3 association of high-quality housing entrepreneurs has commemorated the hotel's 70 anniversary with an emotional gathering sponsored by B. Solís. The event, held on October 23rd at the hotel’s premises, was attended by notable local personalities and professionals, including the Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, and our COO, Mr. Pablo García Romero, who represented our company.
However, the true star of the day was Count Rudi, the German-born driving force behind the hotel and the right-hand man of its founder, Prince Alfonso of Hohenlohe, who inaugurated the establishment in 1954. Rudi, who has dedicated his education and career to the art of hospitality, received a special tribute for his work, legacy, and his still-active presence in the city at the age of 92. For Rudi, Marbella is more than just his home or workplace; it is his life’s purpose after falling “completely in love with Marbella from the very first day I saw it.”
The event also served to announce a new alliance between the Marbella Club Hotel and the DOM3 association. For Charly Simon, President of DOM3, the hotel's membership as a new associate represents a significant promotion of the high-end housing sector on the Costa del Sol. The director of the Marbella Club Hotel, Julián Cabanillas, hopes the hotel will become a "gateway" for "potential clients and investors" in the luxury housing market in the area.
Furthermore, this partnership reflects a mutual commitment to preserving and fostering the quality, exclusivity, and excellence that distinguish Marbella and the Costa del Sol, particularly regarding their real estate and hospitality industries.
