The completion of the works at the “La Perla del Puerto” Tourist Apartments marks the culmination of a comprehensive transformation project located next to Estepona Marina. The project involved the complete refurbishment of part of the Puertosol Building, creating a new tourist accommodation establishment composed of 14 units, including studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments.
This intervention has entailed a full renovation of existing spaces, adapting them to the new functional, technical and regulatory requirements associated with tourist accommodation use. The main objective was to reorganise the interior layout and update the installations in order to create comfortable, bright accommodation units that are fully integrated into the urban and coastal environment in which they are located.
Throughout the development of the project, a thorough renovation was carried out across the interior spaces, finishes, installations and common areas of the establishment. This update has enabled the implementation of a more efficient accommodation model, aligned with current standards of quality and comfort, and capable of responding to the needs of an increasingly demanding tourism market.
One of the main challenges of the project was to transform spaces originally designed for other uses into functional and well-resolved tourist apartments. To achieve this, the work focused on optimising every square metre, with particular attention paid to layout, natural light, comfort and the overall aesthetic coherence of the development.
The result is a new collection of modern and practical accommodation units that contributes to enhancing the value of the building and strengthening the tourist offering in one of Estepona’s most active areas. With this intervention, “La Perla del Puerto” becomes part of the Estepona Marina environment as a contemporary, functional accommodation proposal aligned with the city’s ongoing tourism development.
