The completion of the Lago Club works within the residential development of Real de La Quinta, in Benahavís, marks a new milestone for one of the most distinctive projects currently under development on the Costa del Sol. The completion of this complex consolidates an architectural and landscape concept designed to integrate naturally into its surroundings, combining design, advanced engineering, and exceptionally meticulous construction execution.
The architectural complex, with a total built area of nearly 15,000 square metres, is distributed across four levels and has been conceived to respond to the topographical and landscape characteristics of the enclave. The project stands out for the technical complexity of some of its most representative structural elements, including a 320-square-metre main staircase dominated by a large white reinforced concrete helical beam, as well as three truncated cone-shaped skylights measuring five metres in diameter, which bring natural light into the interior spaces while reinforcing the building’s architectural identity.
The execution of Lago Club has required extensive technical and construction coordination due to the characteristics of the terrain and the uniqueness of the architectural design. The integration of special structures, landscaped roofs, and open spaces connected to the natural surroundings has represented a significant construction challenge, approached with precision and rigour throughout every phase of the project.
